Selecting an Image
One thing that's proven difficult in setting up online identities is
selecting an image to represent me across a number of different sites.
Eventually I decided to go with a slightly modified version of a
picture of my office.

Phone Number
With the Internet being the go to source for looking up information
(such as a phone number) it would be ideal for me if a search for "Dr
John Kivus" actually returned a link to
http://www.gannettdrivedental.com. Currently, however, the search
listings for my names are populated with sites like Healthgrades
(http://www.healthgrades.com/directory_search/physician/profiles/dr-md-reports/Dr-John-Kivus-DMD-ABF5D36F.cfm)
LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dr-john-kivus/14/788/210) and
Healthcare (http://www.healthcare.com/reviews/john-a-kivus/) while my

listings. I'm going to try and use this blog to track the progress over time of
where my pages end up. I'm not sure what the best way to increase
their visibility is at this time, so I'll be trying a few different

Interesting Experiment
It's strange that even though GannettDriveDental.com exists, a search for Gannett Drive Dental still brings up http://www.gfdental.com instead of http://www.gannettdrivedental.com.
